Our beginning
Faoba embodies the passion for a craft passed down through generations.
Expressed through timeless designs and pieces, with an identity that symbolizes the native cultures of the Andean region, each jewel is created using conceptual, artisanal, and traditional processes with a forward-thinking and global perspective.
Founded in 2009
In Buenos Aires, Argentina, by the Colombians Adriana Salazar and Julieta Uribe; Adriana, a graphic designer specializing in jewelry, textile jewelry, and jewelry illustration, and Julieta, a photographer, 3D jeweler, and jewelry designer, inherited their passion and love for jewelry from their mother—a jeweler and enthusiast of Colombian emeralds. Surrounded by precious metals and gems in the midst of the family jewelry studio in Bogotá, they honed their skills alongside their siblings.
Today, Faoba has a jewelry studio in Bogotá with over 15 years of experience—a space where creativity flows freely
Developing collections inspired by the Muisca indigenous culture, narrating myths and legends that take us back to the magical world of their ancestors.
